Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be used for multiple purposes. It can be converted from a single stroller into a double stroller by adding the second seat (sold separately) or a glider board. It can also be set up to become a triple travel system by adding the bench seat or an infant car seat. In three wheel pushchair , it offers 24 configurations and is a top-ranked stroller overall. This model uses Baby Jogger's breathable, soft TENCEL fabrics that help with thermal regulation and are sourced sustainably. It has an elegant leatherette handlebar and bumper bar, as well as the belly bar. It is 20% smaller and lighter than the top single-to-double stroller, the UPPAbaby V2.
It has a medium-sized sunshade and a convenient magnetic peek-a-boo window that is simple to open and close. The telescoping handlebars are one of the simplest to adjust and is suitable for parents of all sizes. The seats recline and come with a footwell adjustment button to allow you to position your child to ensure maximum comfort. The storage bin has plenty of space, however we would have preferred an easier latch. The bin is easy to open, however the zippers are a bit annoying because they need to be unfastened and then put back in place after each use.
The City Select, like its siblings, has single-action breakers that are simple to install and release by pulling a lever located on the frame side, lower than the handlebar. It is sandal- and barefoot friendly and a step up from the clunky brake levers other competitors use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that can accept two infant car seats, making it a great alternative for twins, or for parents with one kiddo and a baby due. It is compatible with the majority of major brands' infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it with Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30 and Graco Click Connect models and also the Cybex Aton, Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. It's a good choice for families who already have an infant car seat and are looking for a stroller that can accommodate it however, you might prefer a convertible stroller that can accommodate an additional car seat for infants in this case.
